ABSTRACT

Registration for the Unified Tertiary matriculation examination, UTME, is organized by the Joint Board of admission and registration, jamb, for admission to tertiary institutions in Nigeria. This recording is carried out in all states of Nigeria in a given time of year. More than once, the process is cumbersome, not organized and have a lot of stress for students. So the goal of this project is to provide an easily accessible and user-friendly system for students to register for UTME online and also to access the results of the online exam. This would be similar to other forms of online registration, but it will also feature the following benefits; as a web-based system, students will be able to access from any computer with a Web browser and connects to the Internet to register for UTME with a graphical interface, the system will more intuitive to use and easy to use. The introduction of online registration was a huge improvement over the old method based on heavy paper ,. As part of the implementation of the software, HTML and Visual Basic 6.0 was used to design a registration for the online exam and result form to check UTME
