ABSTRACT

The manual system was seen to have problems such as queuing, lots of paper work, over booking, record control between sectors etc. The computerized model is designed to take care of the lapses of the manual system. The need for his new system cannot be overemphasized in any transport so many for improved productivity and maintaining a competitive edge. This study is designed to improve the operation and services of Imo Transport Company. A computerized Transport model was developed base on data collection from Imo Transport Co.Â�1pany limited OweA=.i (ITC). This is taken as a case study. The database of Microsoft Access and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 language was used in achieving the purpose of the study and Window XP operating system.
